Converts 1-bit TIFF imposition to compose contone

TIFF, then separate the contone TIFF imposition to original page for digital color proof printing

ABOUT

What’s  Page12C

Page12C converts the ripped imposition (1-bit TIFF format) to compose contone TIFF, then separate the contone TIFF imposition to original page order, so you can easily print out with digital color proof printers.

Limited to the size of digital printer (8.5”x 11” or 11”x 17”), ripped imposition can’t print out with digital color proofing. Most of printing factory use these two ways to confirm the proofing: One way is to print the imposition with large format printer, cut and post them to make a booklet. This way can be inconvenient and costly.

The other way is to print color proof preRIP, it’s easier and faster, but errors may occur after postRIP. Page12C can solve these problems, converts the ripped imposition to compose contone TIFF, separate the imposition to the actual page size, it can present the true postRIP color proof.

Workflow

Page12C can separate the imposition to the original PDF page order and print out a proofing booklet by 8.5”x 11” or 11”x 17” digital printers.
